Garlic

(Allium sativum)

The garlic is very easy to grow. In cookery the bulb of the plant is used, which is divided in many cloves. The garlic has big bacteriacide properties and contains A, C and B1 vitamins. There are a lot of stories about the garlic’s use in order to fight the big epidemic diseases such as the plague.

Because of the taste, it is not always loved by the people, but the garlic contains allyle sulphur which fight the damaging of the free radicals, decrease the risk of heart attack and thrombosis, but mostly the garlic is considered the “king of the herbs” thanks to the power of  the increase in the defence of the immune system.
